Do you have any crossing letters, or is this not a crossword?

Selfheal was an old plant believed to cure anything. If you read it out backwards is sounds like “laugh less”. But that’s the best I can do!

I wonder if Dr McHale refers to the Archbishop of Tuam

I mentioned in an earlier thread that when we were staying in Clare we visited Cong to see the cottage from The quiet man. We also went to Tuam, because of the Saw Doctors!

Was there a road manager of the Saw Doctors called McHale?

RE McHale inquiry.

I have Dr. Joe Mchale. He was a well-known General Practitioner (GP) who practiced in Galway city for many years.
Medical Career: He was a prominent family doctor who worked at St. Bride’s Nursing Home on Sea Road in the 1950s. He is remembered as a "caring man" and a dedicated local GP by many former patients in the Galway community.
Memorial: There is a memorial seat dedicated to him located on the Claddagh Quay, which remains a sentimental landmark for locals.'

Not amuse is an anagram of Seamount if there is/was a place in Galway that fits?
