No. I buy the Sunday Observer, but am not sure whether to bother any more.

Re browsers, I’m very happy with Duck Duck Go for many reasons, but no trouble accessing Everyman with it is one.

Thanks, Brendan. Funny video. I watched SNL every weekend through my early 20s, but stopped decades ago.

Thanks Geeker, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I don't watch SNL on TV, but very occasionally the YouTube algorithm will suggest a particular skit, as was the case here. The only other one I really liked was called Papyrus, about a guy's obsession with type fonts. Like Washington's Dream, it has well in excess of 20 million views on YT.

Hello everyone! Bit of a cliché, but long time lurker, first time poster.
I've been doing the Everyman crossword for some time now but only recently been submitting my finished crossword for the prize draw.
To my utter disbelief, I've had an email this morning saying I'm a winner for the EV 4130
The email seems genuine enough but is asking for details regarding full name and address. Is this normal? Does anyone have experience of this?
Many thanks 😊

Hi LizzieLoo,
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your win!

If in doubt, the email address of the puzzles editor at the Observer (who is called Caitlin) is “puzzles@observer.co.uk”

Thanks Jono!
The email has come from Liz Anning - Editorial administrator ONR (who does check out as someone at the Observer). I feel like I'm being overly cautious, but these days it pays to be careful.

Hi Lizzieloo,

Welcome to there Forum and congrats on your win. I agree it pays to be cautious but I think this is genuine. I recently won Gemelo 3 and the confirmation email asked for my name and address. It's because they need it when printing the winners (although they only give your city of town for obvious privacy reasons).
