Raffles taking no prisoners with this one! The PDM when it came fell from a great height and unlocked a lot of otherwise uncompleted unclued entries. Thank you, Raffles; “hard but fair” to quote the Pythons.

Not least the title.

Have finished. Took a while for the penny to drop. However I don’t understand what to write under the grid. I can see that part of the third work is encrypted in the last few words ( second part) of the extra letters.But the instructions are to write the “unencrypted “second part under the grid. Do I unencrypt those last few words , giving the FULL second part of the work.

jadzia, my understanding was that the “form of encryption” was itself part of what needed to be entered under the grid and that therefore the full second part of the work was the appropriate entry.
