We learn today, from the printed solution, that the title of the puzzle, “Knots”, when abbreviated to “Kn” is of course the “Heart of DarKNess”.

I see that Doc's inattiveness as editor extends to the solutions. 25 down, which should read "CRESCIVE", appears as "CRASCIVE"!
