A fairly straightforward but enjoyable offering from Qaos, with perhaps one or two too many ‘write in first, parse second’ answers for me.
FOI 9, LOI the very neat 20.
COD? I liked 14.

FOI 8.
LOI jointly 1d and 20d, both of which confused me greatly and raised the threat of DNF.

Thanks to Qaos. Fun solve. About two-thirds was quite easy but well clued, the rest various degrees of challenging. A certain amount of UK GK added to difficulty.

No single COD, but I liked a number of relatively simple clues with nice surfaces: 24d, 23, 18d, 18a, 24a, 15 and 14.

Due to a preference for smutty clues, after some deliberation the (only slightly) Pauline 24d is COD.

I haven't begun this yet but just want to check if Rogerm and Rogissimo are one in the same.

I only ask because I've been a bit concerned by Rog's absence the last few weeks.

Thanks Qaos.

Welcome back after nearly 9 months.

Excellent as always. Sense a theme, not sure.

Top two favs: 1a and 13a.

Julius in FT, some excellent clues there.

Brendan, I think they may be the same...IIRC rogissimo mentioned a while back that his weekend schedule/routine was changing, which could account for less posting.

Took me awhile to figure out 13. I assume it is a reference to a newspaper?

darla, yes. First word refers to a tabloid.

Thanks, geekier. I looked it up and there is indeed a red top.

There is definitely a theme, based on 20d. I wasn't sure of the answer, until I saw the link to 15a and 17d. There are plenty of other ones in the grid as well, so it will be fun rooting them all out.
