I thoroughly agree with you, bobdown. I am grateful to you for 'illywhacker', which had had me stumped! I see that it is in Chambers as Australian slang but where does Yankee fit in?

Hello Dicki,
It took me a while to parse that one but it's ill/Y/whack/er. Y for Yankee in phonetic alphabet. Not sure I approve of "iller"!
