Quite tricky, as usual. For some reason totally unrelated to solving the puzzle, the compiler has chosen the length of every word in each clue to match that of of its solution.

On Clue Clinic the overall opinion is that it was his most straightforward yet with a 2* rating for difficulty (out of 5).

A handful of tricky clues though, I felt, amongst many softies.

I agree significantly simpler than last week and possibly the most straightforward so far from Gemelo.

The constraint appears to apply to the setter rather than the solver and so I wonder why the need point it out using instructions when it could be there to be discovered.
