Sorry guys, I'm none the wiser.

The only thing I can think of water related that fits the final 2 letters is something that keeps my flat warm in the winter and, yes, I have one in my bathroom but it doesn't indicate anything to do with taps other than they're working?

Brendan - are you saying that you’ve never seen those letters (that keep your flat warm) on the top of taps in a bathroom?

Ahhhh, I was looking at them as a pair rather than individually - what a dunce I am!
