I had everything in an "Ooh - get me!" time, except for the name of the process. Many hours later, I would like to thank you all for butting me in the right direction - cheers!

Fun grid, clever PDM. Spoiled a lot by the derogatory, outdated and borderline offensive entry at 14A to be honest. Was my final clue in and soured the entire thing for me. Especially considering the current political climate in the UK. I think if you can't complete a grid with this word then make a different grid!
