Thanks all for the votes and thanks to Swarb for the challenge.
I enjoyed all the prizes especially the ELP clip which features the legendary Yamaha GX1. There are only about 10 in existence and they cost around $50k in the seventies and weighed about 1000 kg. Led Zeppelin had one.

Nice one Jono - well done! Thanks for a tough ... but fun challenge Swarbrules. Appreciate votes from Jono & Buddy, mentions from Chrise & Aristo and the kind words.

chrise

I know he uses a bow but I can't think of any tunes with ox or lake in them.

I have, I hope, wide musical tastes. If I win again, you will be spared Gilbert and Sullivan and most stuff after 1980 but most anything else is a possibility.

There's a fine version by Paul Brady.

Went to a fiddle convention in Groton Ma and while sitting on the porch of the inn (eating a ham and egg bagel from Dunkin Donuts) heard a wonderful ad hoc version from several fiddlers and mandolin players.

Congrats jono, nifty wordplay, but at the risk of being accused of not liking the definition, I didn't like the definition - "calm waters" not specific enough, IMO. So it goes.

Thanks for hosting swarb.
