Nearly done but am stuck on 6d. Could anybody help please? I assume the answer includes the chemical symbol in the second word but I may have that completely round my neck!

I think I have finished it FOI 8d Loi 10a although I’m not happy with the answer h-o-s

A very difficult but fun challenge

Love a good Vlad. About halfway through and already have so many contenders for CoD.

Tough going but I never feel utterly at sea with Vlad- their elegant clues always give you exactly what you need to solve them.

Finished but a highly unsatisfactory finish. I was held up in the NE for ages. A pdm got me 6d (probably my COD) but like Brendan I don't understand the Streak when cycling part of 10a and I don't get the parsing at all for 7d. Reasonably happy with my answers but a little pointer would not go amiss.

7 parses as an outer part of 3 ("My") surrounding 2, 1 ("working", "day")

10a word for streak (as in go fast), move first letter to last (cycle)
7d three letter my (as in gosh) around two letter working and one letter day.

I'm having trouble with the captchas on the site today. Never happened to me before, but I've seen many mentions of it.

Thanks all. Another mechanism I always forget is cycling. I always think it means reversing. All answers were correct so I can rest easy and thank Vlad for a splendid solve.

Lovely crossword today - slowish going but got one every few minutes. Just the way I like it. Stuck on parsing of 6d and 12a - any help much appreciated.

One remaining, 15d. Cant really make any sense if it despite having every checked letter. It must be a new word for me (which is always nice). FOI 17/21 COD probably 16a just for the mental image which made me giggle.
