The second is STEEL. (f)LEETS< Brought to book being a literarly ref.

I'm having real trouble with the NE corner where I can't resolve a clash between 5D and 9A. 5D is a pretty straightforward anagram and 9A was one of the first I put in, again pretty obvious. But they clash. And that's leading me to think that I have some wrong letters for 4A
(L-PAC--). Can anyone give me comfort?
