Had a pacemaker installed 4 years ago. Very straightforward op, and no problems since. One word of advice - tell him to inform folks at airport and other security gates, otherwise it triggers the alarm.

I’ve failed miserably with the Prize the past few weeks so pleased to have an easier one to remind me that I can still do these things! And some funnies to make me smile. Especially liked 27a once I got the word play.

Ahhhh. Thank you.

It was actually 16d I couldn’t parse - now I realize because I had the last 4 letters wrong. And had incorrectly solved 28, I had chosen the not explicit version which doesn’t actually parse properly now I see the correct answer.

Here’s hoping for a gentle Prize next week too to get my back in my stride.
