18,19 I wrote in without thinking too hard about the second word, but now you mention it ??

…see it now. Latitude is one letter inside a four letter word for ‘about’. And it doesn’t involve a reversal of ‘row’ which is quite misleading.

This is a real struggle! I have an answer for 18/19 which fits but can't parse it - and if it's correct I have crossers A, L, D and G for 9 down, which doesn't seem to be a word. Is it a proper name? A composer? Help!

There are two more crossers in 9d, so I can't tell if yours are right. It's a person, but not a specific named one.

I've finished after a long struggle. However, although I have the answer for 16d, I can't parse it.
Hints please.
