No. 19 - the third word in the answer is slang for dollar. That should lead you to a phrase meaning "avoiding responsibility"

Can anyone help me with No. 59? Relating it to the clue above it, was I right to think breathe = pant = puff, and take it from there? Or am I losing my mind?

re my above posting, I should have said that the hint I gave was for clue 59 (not 19)
and re 58. breathe = pant. Sorry about the confusion.

Winnie - thanks for the clue to 59 - got it now, but very disappointed that the answer was not "puff adder" !!!
