Grid filled, title of theme deduced, outlineof subject drawn, last row completed.
But not the faintest about what the extra words have in common.
Slight nudge please?

hi Nelson you're a step ahead of me - grid filled, title and bottom lines deduced, I 'know' the theme - but no idea yet where/how to produce the outline, I was hoping the link between extra words would be the key to this ... but perhaps not? I'm really struggling to see what they might have in common!

You need to take a letter from each of extra words in clue order to spell out the hint. You will need it for the final outline.

I'm in exactly the same position, Nelson. I've got the subject work in front of me, along with the person responsible in the bottom row but just can't see what links the extra down words?
