Came back from shopping, got the last five clues. Very pleased with myself, it I wouldn’t have got there without the help here.

I wasn't sure about this at first. Fans of Larry David would have heard his trademark "myeah" coming from my lips. But after finishing I thought some of these clues were really clever and made you sit down and have to think it through. So overall I think Tramp did a cracking job here. COD 24a. LOI 22d which I can't believe took me so long.

I think 22d caused problems for lots of us Rocky:-)

Sometimes you just get hung up on your first hunch and it blocks your lateral thinking. Did the same with 20a thinking the first word was one of two numbers. Held me up for ages.

Yes, 22 caused me no end of problems, almost LOI. Saw the answer fairly quickly, but doubted it due to the (dubious IMO) plural "drugs" in the clue. The short 18 was also difficult, with a cunningly disguised definition and a plausible (but non-parsing) "red herring" solution that works with the crossers.

Thanks geeker for pointing me towards the correct answer to 13a.
As I generally start on the crossword later in the day there is usually plenty pf help on this forum when I need it - although I do try to finish by myself first. Like others I remain baffled by the parsing of 13a and the definition in 23a - and I remain unsure of my answer to 22d. Any further help on these would be welcome.

sorry - I mean 18a in my fist sentence, not 13a
