aristophanes/brendan, regarding the last WSJ puzzle - I was lucky to get my hands on that one and I agree, it was very good.
A kind solver (American, I think) on another site recommended it and posted the puzzle, also recommending this thread for the current puzzle. They've been enjoyable discoveries, and thanks for the plug - I'll look out for them in future.
sunray - I'll happily wait for the next puzzle because I tend to avoid puzzles if the solution has already been published (It's a silly quirk but I can't shift it!). Thanks again for providing them, it's very kind of both you and syzygy.
