Minty, on 28/4 first six letters are reversed plus a relative. 19D is the usual two letter word for so in a loose word for mark minus its last letter.

Sorry, unintentional spoiler, I meant to say like not so!

Thanks Cymro, I'm feeling a bit thick now as the second part that i rolled back is a palindrome and didn't need reversing! My excuse is that I originally saw the last 4 letters of the 2nd word rolled back and just carried on thinking that was right.

(and thanks for the unintentional spoiler on 19d)

Well, I did go back and finish it, but I'm not sure why - I only recognised one "number", so needed a list, and I don't enjoy solving like that

Not helped by my second entry being wrong! I confidently entered SIRIUS at 2d.

Hm. I wasn't particularly familiar with the theme, so this one was a bit of a slog, but I got there in the end, with some help from my good friend google.

Any tips on the parsing of 9? I can't quite see how the parts of the clue fit together

"One" gives the first letter, then a common word for "born" around ("drinks") a partial anagram

Really enjoyed the puzzle today, once the penny had dropped! Only one I can't parse is 7d. In and facing out. (2,6) ?n ?t?i?e.

I really enjoyed this one. After a morning spent getting very cold and wet, it was great to stretch out on the sofa with a prize puzzle that wasn’t too hard! FOI: 21ac. LOI: 7d ( don’t know much about cricket so couldn’t parse it). COD: 5d, 22d
