I agree with the majority - a bit of a mixed bag, with the south easier than the north. Some of the surfaces too convoluted for me and I had to biff first and then parse. However, I can't parse 11a (my LOI). And I can't completely parse 16a either. Can anyone help??

Thanks Buddy - even after your explanation for 11a it took me a while to figure it out!

I was looking for an anagram for 16a but it didn't occur to me that 'in' might be part of it. I already had the i so was trying out synonyms for damsel that had an i in them! Good clue, now that I see it!

Been out for the day, had three quarters done, just finished off drawing on a few of the posts from you all, so thanks for them. FOI 8a LOI 7d. Just did not see a few of the anagrams. COD for me is 15a. Enjoyed the comments as well. Brian Eno's work. Does that reveal a certain demographic for this forum? Must wind up my gramophone.
