I knew the Spandau Baller and the Joni Mitchell, but had to Google the Madonna connection to check.

Just the right level of challenge and some very clever clues: 5d is my COD. 9a was the trickiest and I needed help from here. Thank you!

Morning all, still struggling in the northern hemisphere, sorted in the south. And help for 1a appreciated - I think if I can get all those first letters, I'll be alright for the rest.

Thank you for the link at 19 chrise. I too was unaware of this genre. Having listened to a little now I am puzzled at how such irritating emptiness can be described as relaxing! But then I'm an old fuddy duddy who had to google for all three parts of 20A...

... and I also enjoyed the correct use of the NATO alphabet in 16A. Not many people know about Alfa and Juliett.

Oh, just saw 1a! That old trick of asking the question only for the answer to reveal itself worked again!

Hi everyone. Bit of a struggle, bit of fun. FOI: 15d. COD: 15a. A bit of research required for 20a, but nice clue.

Stay safe!
