Fancy sort of ticket (cryptic clue) by RDIELL

I have worked out the answer - DREAM. This was based on having D_E_M and dream=fancy.

But I can't work out why!

Can anyone advise?

Thanks! So 'sort of' doesn't mean anything ? We had assumed it indicated an anagram!

In this case it means "kind of", or "variety of" ticket
