Well done Mattrom - back where you belong! Thanks Jono - had to watch the clip to the end to see what level 7 might be!

I hope we can revert to the `normal` format for the mid-week Peer Review, which seems to be the most popular of the three comps - the weekend version can be experimental if the host wishes.

Richardk - pleased I`m not the only Yorkie in the village - I`m also a fan of ISIHAC and Barry Cryer ... not forgetting Samantha!

@ChrisE

Humble apologies, I meant to reply to your post. I did see it and reMEMBER it!
I don't think Nora would be too chuffed had you written the lyrics out!
Great spot, thanks.

Well done, mattrom - a fine, naturally concealed anagram. Have I correctly picked up that you guys call this 'surface', i.e. a smooth read?

Thanks for bold innovation, Jono. Fine occasionally, though I normally prefer a single word or phrase to concentrate on.

Feedback, jono:
I think WPR is a better place to experiment, as it generally isn't as well populated.
Also, I think allowing single clues instead of paired ones rather confused the issue.
We did try paired clues in WPR a while back, but it wasn't popular.

Thanks Chris, I didn’t know that. I did ask the question in the WPR 41 thread @55 as to the difference between PR and WPR, why the wording differed and to what extent it was acceptable to experiment. I hope everyone enjoyed it none the less...

No criticism intended, jono - you would have had to search quite a long way back to see those WPRs!

Thanks to Rossim, Tyke, Paulh, FJ and Paul for your votes, and to Chrise for the mention - all much appreciated.
Thanks also to the intrepid Jono for trying a different challenge. I think it is worth exploring.
I found it quite difficult to compile 2 clues with a good surface which relate to each other, and equally difficult to judge. One may like one clue of the set more than the other.
I enjoyed the clip. Always interesting watching those elegant hands twinkle across the keyboard.
Cheers till next week.
