Firstly, apologies for the delay getting onto this, work has been one of those full-on sort of days.

Secondly, what a fantastic selection! There are so many good clues I found it really difficult to choose. I liked Granama’s Pollen producer in offensive declaration. (9) and I really liked Paul’s @19 follow-up using “Tet” in the anagram, nice.

Winner (after more deliberation than I ever imagined) – Jafo @13 for "Team sent to play at Best's final testimonial (9)". It just scans so smoothly.

Prize… the trailer for the film “Testament of Youth” based on the memoirs of Vera Brittain - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tP7k4wqVJo - well worth a look if you've never seen it.

Gosh thanks Richard, didn’t expect that with so many great entries. I put that down to such a good choice of word, lots of possibilities after what I feel have been some toughies.

Nothing wrong in them but it was nice to have a blank canvas as it were. I found my clue a bit sad to be honest, he was such a genius albeit a flawed one.

Don’t recall that movie, will keep an eye out for it thanks for sharing. Am out on a ship just now so will keep for when I get back to civilisation. See you all next week I hope.
