Thanks to the hardy souls who tackled the word this week.

Kt was first off the rank with his fast cars, which I initially thought were place names, then the Boston Bad Boy Aristo had me chuckling with his clever 4 &10.
Other touches I liked were; Paul's witch/bishop dalliance, Jafo's 'hangover', Granama's 'H and B' pencils, both FJ and Faiton's events 'in baghdad' and Chrise's Wilde story.
Tyke's #15 had me re-visiting the Thatcher years. I hadn't realised she coined the term "wets" in politics.

For first prize, I found it hard to choose between Paul 5, FJ 14, BBM2 20 and Paulh's 21, but will go with:
Paulhavershon's succinct composite #21

Well done, Paulh! You are in the hot seat next week.
Love 'im or hate 'im, your prize is some Rod Stewart

Many thanks for your decision and prize, Mattrom.

I feel a bit awkward here, seemingly the only poster under my full, real name. I'm used to the English Chess Forum where it's compulsory.

Next week please tell me promptly if I choose a word that's been used before in the competition.

Hi Paulh, if you enter "Clueless" or "Peer Review" in the search box, and scroll down a bit, there are 2 alphabetical lists of "used" words.

Congrats [and welcome, if you’re a newbie] PaulH - well deserved! Thanks Mattrom, as ever... I thought at first that the word would be horrid but it turned out to be quite fun! The clip wouldn’t play but I’m familiar with this waxing from the old rock n roll goat, see you tomorrow I hope
