If it's the blank cells part, xwordfan - i've got the 'heads' of the 3 living creatures in those cells.

Just to confirm before I start to look where the 3 crooked lines should go, are the initial letters of the three living creatures in alphabetical rather than in the order they appear in the short piece?

drxx I have the tail of the smallest in the middle of the three - cannot see where else it would go if it is to be inside the structure.

That's odd, ionexch - I've got that one on the far right (with tail up against the wall).

...but I can see the possibility of one sitting on top of the other on the left - and M E M in the gaps (peaceful coexistence?).

Like others, I'm struggling with the three crooked lines. Is there any significance to the shape of these lines, or is just a case of getting these inhabitants in, by hook or by crook? (excuse the pun)
