Good morning malone and many thanks.

My thanks too for your help malone. With your crossers and the (very) few I managed for myself I was able to finish. But it was just a quick crossword guessing game of trying to fit words to what might be the definitions. Perhaps tomorrow will have wordplay which does not require one to connect "plumber" with a cartoon character!
