It's always better to give the clue, not everyone has a copy.

I think it might be Jemmy, a way to get in - without the clue, I can't remember the wording. It sounds like Gemmy, which is 'like a stone/precious stone'.

Sound good, I've been pulling my hair out!!! Original clue " sounds like precious stone might be a means of access" couldn't get "agate" out of my mindset.
