Yes, it's an anagram and a name closely connected with the themed entry replacing it. I didn't investigate much, just enough to finish - so am not sure of the 'jeopardy'.

Got him!!

Cracking puzzle but a teentsy niggle. Didn't find the 'jeopardy' bit of the message particularly 'helpful' 😏

I wondered if I'd have to read a story, or even just the synopsis of a story, to confirm the 'jeopardy' stuff - I wasn't sufficiently interested!
