Hi Myla, the abbreviation for "lead" is FE so I think the answer is probably FEDS but I can't see where the 'DS' comes from.

"Given" is "fed", "s"uspect lead is the letter "s".

and the abbreviation for lead is PB,
FE is iron ?

Hi Jo, I did wonder if it might be D(etective) S(ergeant) and that Myla had unintentionally missed an apostrophe in 'Investigators' but the order looked wrong.
