Hello again, everyone. Thank you all for taking part. Having taken a break from sitting in the back garden in my shorts (not a pretty sight) with a book and a beer (in Scotland we have to take the fine weather when we can get it. Hurricanes have been known to be downgraded to "a Scottish summer"), I have been poring over your entries - a gratifying 26 from 14 setters.

I won't list all of my favourites but touches I liked included Tyke's "oddly backing leaders" and "Elsa played", kt17's "hoodwink" (had to look that up), Marty's "jumble sale", SteveA's "privy", Sunray's "reverse" clue and TheRogue's "one blubbered". Given that "the Donald"'s current residency in the White House is likely to coincide withl Bawjaws' (sorry, Bojo's) residency at No.10, I think we may see Aristo's clue coming to pass pretty soon.

Without his recourse to a subsequent clue, to obviate any "Adamski" confusion, I would, anyway, have gone for Ginge @13 with

Your prize is some singing seals. IMHO the attempt to replicate "Twinkle, twinkle little star" is the star of the show.

I'd appreciate help with the parse. I see that serial minus RI = seal. But I don't get the "killer ..." end part. I see that sw mentioned Adamski (who? what?) but I'm still in the dark.

Is it a reference to the singer? I only know "Kissed by a rose...." (or something!)

A singer? Not someone known to me, sorry!

Google tells me that "Killer" is a song by Seal and Adamski. I thought it was Michael Jackson!

....or was that "Thriller"?

I must admit that, when choosing a winner, I didn't consider that many may be unfamiliar with the works of Seal. (Personally, the only recorded work I possess by him is the "Kiss From a Rose" single). I did know that Adamski's hit "Killer" was Seal's first success as a singer.
