Yes, 9dn doesn’t seem to have a hyphen but the answer is a bit prettier than prune stones counted round the rim of a plate of semolina/tapioca which is my stomach-turning memory of this ditty.

I'd wondered if the 27 A answer had ever been seen with a hyphen, that and 9 D seemed the only possibilities.

I parsed 16d as L for pound, I for 1 and M for 1000.
LIM reversed (arise?) for the answer.
