I wonder if there's a word missing, perhaps 'Lit' or 'Burned', as in 'Being lit/burned by this.

Perhaps something is missing, but it's not like the ST to make mistakes. However, there is always a first time for everything.

Maybe someone would wipe their brow if they were really hot and sweating, but would a blowtorch make one that hot?
