A reader says that he bought shares in Sainsbury’s some time ago following our “recommendation” and sold them last week after we advised “avoid Sainsbury’s”. He made a substantial profit before the price collapsed after the merger with Asda was blocked.
Please note that our “recommendation” was in the context of visiting the store to check on apostrophes, and later we suggested “avoiding” the store until they sort out their multiple branding using 4 variations. It is a co-incidence that we used share-tipping terminology.
