I remember Gerald Nabarro. At one stage he had 7 Rolls-Royes, with number plates NAB1 to NAB7. One could ask "why"?

Also "I refuse to name my source", parodied (on the original Spitting image?) as "I refuse to name my sauce".

He had those number plates but he didn't own any Rolls-Royces.

That was interesting - the only punishment our prefects could give were lines.

I remember Nabarro. The quotation is interesting as he was MP for Worcester. I dont know if that was where the sauce came in.

Congratulations on qualifying for the semi-final of Masterchef. Your bone marrow creme brulee looked delicious. Bone marrow steak and kidney pie is a favourite of mine.

Ha! Thanks for the thought Grunger, sneaked through in third place. I recall one of the critics’s described that desert as ‘half exquisite pudding, half practical joke’! I like the sound of it though

I think the humour of the dish led Grunger to assume it was you. As for the critic who hated it, because of the dripping running down her neck, well, some of us were brought up on bread and dripping.
