Last one bar the perimeter. 48d Tone of Scottish politician , endless prick. (6,4). S?l?o? P???. Must be (Alex) Salmon pink. I can't see where pink comes from considering both rude and non rude versions of prick and then taking letter(s) from either the start or finish.

It's a clean answer - Pink just means Prick, cut small holes etc. The 'endless' refers to the politician Salmon(d).

I could have sworn it was Salmon !
