Why is this numbered EV 3762? I have it as EV 1357.

i think someone has confused it with the Everyman puzzle

Does the 1st E in the bottom row come at the bottom of 27d or 21d ....can't seem to fit either with a defn from the redundant words ??

Bunty, 7 D is a hat - from the usual Liberal, a three-letter 'cross' and two letters (the slightly less common) abbreviation for Queen.

Bunty, neither! It's a cross that appears fairly often in crosswords.

Bunty, in 4 D, it's 'fell' as in deadly. Allowed = the start of the word, 50% to be trimmed gives the rest.
