Evening all! Just back and is great to see my English friends again!

I make it 25 clues from 16 entrants, which is not bad view the word.

Enjoyed reading your clever clues and my list of likes was forever
extending! After a great cut down, among my favourites are
Therogue @6 (was expecting Waterloo to be mentioned somewhere!)
Paul @9 amongst his other clues, Geevo@10, Nemo @11, Mattrom's
spooner @13 (I always admire someone having a go at making
a spooner - they are my 'bête noire!), Aristo @25 and Peterm @19.


Runners up are BBM @7 (thank you for confirming), followed by Ginge @23 but just ahead for me is my winner TYKE51 with his very succinct
