Hi all I know this is late but just getting round to it . Is the answer to Saturday's alphapuzzle guest or guessed ?

It was answered as "guest" on here, previously.

Sorry rusty ..visitor hazarded estimate ,we hear . I think it's guest cause there are no double numbers in any of the seven letter spaces so guessed won't fit.

Looks like "guest" to me, too.

Cat55, I think if the answer was to be Guessed, the clue would have had to be along the lines of 'We hear visitor hazarded estimate' - the 'we hear' has to be near what it sounds like.
