Hi Malone. If you still have your completed grid, can you help with one letter of 27a. I have ROPING but cannot parse. (Clue is: talking madly about switching to ordinary yarn twisting process)
I also need one of the four letters generated from the across clues, probably, before I can try to complete. I have IDE only.

I think I have four of the words that move.

2. Bard becomes the second word in the clue

5. Unusual becomes the penultimate word.

11. Run, ditto

26. Orcadian, ditto.

Hi guys

I have completed the grid, including the unclued down solution telated to "boom', except I have been unable, since yesterday, to get the central across solution. I am thinking it may relate to 'bust'. I realise that the right hand part contains lettets that make real words....where connected to 9 and 11 down for example.

Starting at 22/LH side I have BE?L(ONE) B ???L???

Any help teallu appreciated.

You need to use symbols not letters to fill in some of the left hand unclued

They come from the clues slapdash and one liner.

The central column and who achieved the breaking of it and in what should help you fill in the left unclued.

You then need to follow the instructions the preamble

7d Tree - one with 5 bananas.

For this, I have M--HA. But mocha isn't a tree, and though musha can be used to express suprise - hence bananas? I think I may have got one (or more) of the across words wrong.

Could anyone help please?

Thanks Malone - I had considered that, but since it didn't fit with 6 ac and 19 ac I'd discarded it. Should I be entering it thematically, or reconsidering those?
