8 The answer is Infested, or infested with. I don't think there's a letter to be removed in this one.

Sunray, I wasn't being deliberately unhelpful. I didn't know if you had any letters for these, so thought a nudge might be enough!

Sunray, you're welcome - to the little bit of help I gave! Your supposition, about one of the words, is correct.

I have the grid filled but can't find any examples of the word. Are anagrams involved? There's a synonym for the puzzle's title that's an anagram of the missing word. Is that relevant?
