A bit more challenging than usual. Found the "Nines" clues the hardest.
Favourites: A - 1a, 4b; D - 3b, 5b; N - b, i.

D 4b messed me up when I put in BEANS, as in "spilled the beans".

Still haven't got D 4 B, the only one that's left apart from the 2 niners affected by it and the top right one. For anyone who can give me a clue this is "Additions to stock secrets revealed out loud", (6) ?E??S

I would never have got Nines a without "Quick solve", nor 7Db without Google!

I like Nines 1 the best. Calculus indeed!

For stock think of soup, then a homophone for secrets. For the upper right niner think of St. Petersburg- Oh! It's Nines b. Lovely clue.

Thanks Mr A, got Nines b now and never would have without help. Have been there. Room full of Picassos, no apparent cameras, open window, guard asleep!!

Still puzzled by 4d b but at least thinking along different lines. Hope you have no-one you love in the hurricane's path
