Grid filled in but no idea of theme to help with filling in the blanks....any help please

Not got them all but the three word pair running up the left hand column are cartoon pigs known for their "singing" among other things. The unclued answers in the body of the grid are all places where you might find porcine creatures according to various sayings and expressions.
