I was not around at 23.32 hrs last night. As the G thread is getting longer and longer, I just posted here to wish you a good holiday (you will need one after this puzzle) Will you be climbing up any z+gg++++s ?

The naughty bindweed is here too, winding its way through the Lavender (the one with the white trumpet flowers - not the Lavender, the weed ) I still have the Sicilian sleuth to watch !

Many thanks for your help. No stepped towers in the Aeolian islands I think, just volcanoes. I've finished packing as well as the crossword and can relax before setting out for Gatwick tomorrow.

My neighbours have bindweed through their lavender too. Mine was through my white spirea. I haven't managed to kill it - there was too much - next year maybe.

Your Italian will be so good by the time you return, you will be able to watch our Sicilian friend without the subtitles. :0)
