re 42 you are showing 8-letter pattern, but clue is 7 ?

Really sorry, it has 8 letters as shown. You'll maybe understand why it takes me so long. With fates in place, it becomes

You're right of course, thanks so much. Obviously my G was wrong, I thought the other clue ended in ING, it must be ION. I'm going to have another look at it.
