Late starting, brain even more sluggish than normal. I'm confused with NN/newsreader comments...

Thanks night owls for your help. I had missed the 3rd definition of SCRIP in Chambers.
Re ANENT think the m=nn explanation is the most convincing though exceedingly cryptic - even for Myops!
Brain recovering today.

According to the other site there is a misprint and it should read about 3 eat rather than 5. I gather the answer for 3 is Names which would give you the NN
