Hi, Rossim. I guessed that from the blue/blew :-). I'm more responding to Hannah's Eastern/Japanese suggestions for #6. You may be on to something with "blue"

Hannah didn't number her clue either but crane gave me the idea for 'high' #1.
I couldn't see where the Japanese came from!

I am sure that "kite" is the best fit for the Equipment / Orient clue
