I agree that 10 will be Bald eagle. As well as a porbeagle being a type of shark, there is one simply called a "beagle" which, "topped," would give "eagle"

We all agree that the clues do not parse . . very annoying . . but with no limit on the letters, that can be part of the 'fun(???)

I was thinking of some sort of Eastern Crane for #6 . .

But as for a Beagle being a fish . . I was 'out of my depth'
