Google research reveals there's a type of apple called akane.

If it's not a jet, maybe the structure of the answer is:

a + word-that-is-not-jet

Stretching it now, but Harry Kane had said he'd like to eventually play American football (Google tells me). The Jets are such a team. But he's not one yet ...
