I have completed the grid and the ten new words so formed are pleasingly thematic. Could someone confirm that the two additional thematic words to be highlighted are both found in the same line? Just checking!

Also completed the grid, and identified the seven-letter word to be coloured, but where do I go from here?

Bigf, I think you're on the next EV, yesterday's? To finish off, what would you find near your highlighting?

I went for EMU from 25a and MARTIN from 37a but I think your REE ?? from 37a is also acceptable

....and the cuckoo 'ANI' appears twice!!

I have got the birds but I cant get 15A....any help please?
